Problem with underbet is he knows you don't have flush, so he can have a set here IMO, along with something like Ah9h too

If you're gonna make a bet like that either your opponent has to be very weak or you have to be committed to calling a raise. FSU ain't weak and this hand can't call a raise.

Player: Fsuplayer
Age: 23 this week

Nationality: Italianish
Style: loosish aggro. (thats still cool, right?)
Strengths:
-catching bluffs
-getting paid off
-adjusting to diff. players

Weaknesses:
-a concept of money
-relestness when only playing 1 or 2 tables
-not playing long enough sessions when im winning
-not taking enough shots

Favorite Hand: 57ss. seems to flop alot of joints after raising from EP.

Favorite move: the river checkraise

Least/Most Feared Player: least: zeebo, most: mahatma

Odds: 14-1

You are ahead about 1/100 times here. Obviously cos you rule so much this was probably one of those times.

this is a donk bet. dont donk bet players like FSU. bet more on river, or chk.

on the river i like to make thin value bets against good players because it pisses them off, and makes me happy.

thankfully fsu didn't know this at the time, and therefore i didn't think he would attempt a river checkraise when the gin-draw card hits the river.

i figure he assumes i am definitely checking behind AK and other one pair and two pair hands on this very ugly river.

so why would he checkraise a made draw when common logic suggests i am checking behind? i think he would have lead right into me for value on the river.

he checkraised, i go into tank, tell him no hand he can have and call.

Q high no good for donkey fsu and he goes busto.

*p.s. fsu then went on to work me. but more so for my inability to hit straight draws, than making calls like this.

Q-high no draws? He called the turn with the intention of checkraising the river with <2xpot stacks?
