AC-Showboat Tournie Information

Hi. Anyone ever played the daily tournaments at Showboat? Do they have a decent turn out? Any information on starting chips would be nice, too.

I checked out their website but I didn't find anything but times.

Thanks!

Do they still have the red felt on the tables ? I haven't been there since August.

They still have some of those ugly tables in the back, but the main tables they use now are a pleasant green...and they're not quite as firm, which is a bit nicer.

I've been once to AC (about three weeks ago) and played the Sunday 11am at Showboat. They had about 50 playes and ran the tourney well. 7 got paid. Don't have to get there too early to register as the card room on Sunday AM isn't all that busy, and they have plently of tables available.
