Flopped flush vs. fish with probable flopped flush...I shut down...

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Villain is pretty darned fishy at 56/1.4/.6 over 140 hands. This situation must be pretty rare, but I didn't know how to handle it.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
5 folds, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP3 calls, Button raises, SB folds, Hero 3-bets, MP3 folds, Button caps, Hero calls.

When this guy caps me, I am almost certain he also has a flush. But I really have no idea whether I'm ahead or behind. He's entirely capable of playing any two suited cards--and only the J and the T beat me right now (especially if he has both of them!). Would it have been better to continue the aggression?

Turn: (6.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

River: (8.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Good lord. Given I'm 98% certain he flopped a flush, he can't have a boat (but could still have a Royal). Is it worth trying to scare him out on the river? I'm thinking it might work against a thinking player, but maybe not this guy.

Final Pot: 10.50 BB

Raising the river agasint this player would be bad. He is never EVER ever folding no matter what he has. Just hope for a smaller flush.

I'd rather bet/fold the river than check call here. He's not likely to bet any hand you can beat but you've still gotta call b/c you're good here often enough to make it correct. He will sometimes check behind w/a lower flush

I think a hand like JTo is also something to consider on the flop (and maybe AQ/KQ). But I think you picked a good time to slow down.

If Villain has a flush, then 13 out of 28 available combinations beat you.
