Carribean Sun branding consolidation to SunPoker

Carribean Sun is going to implement a graphical change in the look of the poker software begining Monday morning... the new SunPoker.com graphics will simply load with the Upgrade of the software begining Monday.

To kick off the new SunPoker.com look, they are having a "Brand-New-Day" Give-Away, where everyday one random SunPoker player from all of the previous days players will receive branded items from the Sun Shop (http://www.sunpoker.com/news_events/sunshop.asp).

Sweet! I just did the Interpoker tshirt bonus. Hopefully, I can get a complete collection of Cryptologic tshirts by next year! Maybe I'll get a SunPoker hat instead. If I wear my Interpoker tshirt with my SunPoker hat, I'll be the coolest kid at any party!

Is it still a crypto site? Still full of the fishies?

Yes, they just made the decision to standardize on the SunPoker name.

I wondered if that meant they'd be firing those sexy Caribbean dealers.

From Red to Green

No need to adjust the color on your monitor
As if you couldn't tell by now, we've undergone a slight transformation with the color scheme.

The Reason
You may have noticed that at the live events we send players to, we brand SunPoker.com instead of Caribben Sun Poker, just because it's easier for people to spell when they see the logo on TV. You needn't sorry about anything else changing, as you will still receive the same award winning customer service you've come to expect from us, and it will be even faster because the agent has four less syllables to pronounce when answering the phone

Basically, we've outgrown the Caribbean and gone global, so we want the name to back it up... Now when someone asks, "Where do you play?", tell them... "In the Sun!"

Good Luck and Warm Regards,
get it, Warm...Sun.........Bye

I recommend putting on your sun glasses before staring at the new Sunny Green screen for too long!!!

Am I the only person having trouble completing the upgrade download?

My update has stopped on 99% downloaded three times on my desktop at home, and twice on my desktop at work.

Firewall issue, maybe?

I dunno.

The download finishes you just need to wait.

This has happened to people on a few of the cryptos (in general strange sporatic upgrade errors).

If it totally doesnt work, you can go to the website and install it from there, that worked better for me when I was having trouble with PokerPlex.

Carribean Sun (whatever it's called) worked fine for me though.

I think the Green color isnt too bad, it's easy on the eyes. It will be interesting to see if the chip amounts clash with the watermark like the old site did. (that happened with PokerPlex as well until they changed the text color to black to fix it)
