WPT Championship, Bellagio 4/06
 

Does anyone know if they're going to be holding smaller events/satellites to the event before the championship? Or have a schedule? I checked the WPT web site and also cardplayer.com and neither had any answers.

I know this is a bit of a ways off, but I'm trying to plan my vacation for the next year with one trip to Vegas and would like it to coincide with a large event (fatter side games).

Since this is part of the 5-star championship, there should be 2 or 3 weeks of tourneys and satellites in advance.

Pokerhost.com says the main event will be 4/22-4/28

If they don't have any prelim-type events then they would probably be holding some of their regular $500 buy-in type events that I think they are doing pretty regularly now (aren't they??)

they have weekly $1ks, friday and saturday..

I can see no reason why they won't run a series before this event, though.. it's their biggest event of the year.
