Did bad flop/turn play lead to tough river decision?

Party $22 sng. Read on the opponent is that he's a little on the tight/trappy side. How's my line up to the river? Also, what do you do on the river? I will attempt to justify my plays after hearing some opinions from those who are more expert in the gentle art of the sng.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed) converter

Button (t1075)
SB (t1199)
Hero (t945)
UTG (t815)
UTG+1 (t1348)
MP1 (t1124)
MP2 (t234)
CO (t1260)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 calls t30, 1 fold, CO calls t30, Button calls t30, SB completes, Hero checks.

SB checks, Hero bets t80, MP1 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls t80.

SB checks, Hero bets t125, SB calls t125.

check fold the flop, if you make it to the river check call a reasonable bet. What are you beating that he's going all in with (ace of hearts??).

Hard to check-call when I'm not first to act.
