NL in Minneapolis

Searched the forum and web and couldnt find anything. I just moved to the Minneapolis area and while there are a number of casinos offering poker, does any one know of one that has NL ?? TIA

Re: NL in Minneapolis

Minnesota has a 60 dollar maximum bet limit, so you will not find NL anywhere.

Only No Limit in the area is at Tutle Lake Casino in ST. Croix Wisconsin.

Also, Treasure Island in Red Wing offers spread limit

Not too many states allow 18 year olds to gamble. Good thing I read this, I was planning a trip but I don't play limit. Cross that off the list.

A little off topic here but I've seen some joints do a 5-150 spread limit because they can't have NL. It's usually a 2/5 blind or similar structure with just a max bet of 150. Most baby NL games dont get that high of bets anyways, so I think thats a great idea.

That's essentially what Treasure Island, Hinckley, and Milles Lacs do to emulate a NL game. The bets are 5 to 60 spread limit. Some hands players limp in for $5, other hands get raised to $25, $50, $60, etc. pre-flop.

A lot of money gets lost in that game.

TI and Grand Casino Hinckley only offer 5-60 SLHE.
$60 max in MN, anywhere.
Plan on a very interesting evening at Hinckley if the Russian or Cowboy are playing.
