Calling a raise with K2o

I'm in the cutoff and posting for my first hand in a 3/6 game at Paradise.

Six limpers to me, I check and the button raises. SB folds, everyone else calls.

There's $51 in the pot and I'm getting 17-1 to call. My hand is trash, but am I justified in calling to close the betting getting this great of a price?

Limit hold em is not about pre-flop odds.

Of course you call. K2s is a monster. Wait what? It was offsuit? Never mind.

In this situation, I'ld much rather call with a hand like 97o than K2o.

Seems pretty darn close getting 17:1.

Situations like this makes me clueless...

your 28:1 in flopping two pair or better. You can't assume a pair of kings is good cuz you have no kicker and you have no draws, Fold. If it was suited you could call since the flush draw comes 9:1. Just remember your only playing for a flush/ two pair etc...

Is AQ worthless on a KQ4 board? If not then K2 is certainly not worthless there either.

I would probably call, but that might not be the right decision. If you were not closing the action this would be a much easier decision to fold. Given the texture of the flop and the action you have to be willing to fold a pair of kings, which is difficult to do if you are getting a great price post flop.

Your pot equity is probably less than the 5.55%, but considering you will flop two pair 2% of the time, trips 1.4%, three flush with K 1.1% of the time, totaling 4.5%. I think that implied odds give you enough extra to call.

IMO it is close and probably has little EV either way.
