Now, if only I could decide between this and the $700 at newegg to upgrade and quiet down my machine. But then 4-tabling at 1600x1200 on a 17" really isn't too good for my eyes either. That 2001 is so pretty--I feel like a hobbit looking at the ring or something.

Would there be any reason to get a monitor w/ the same resolution as the other one I'll be using?

I've been planning on getting the 2001fps, but now this widescreen one has come out with the same resolution as my laptop screen(1680x1050).

BTW, thanks a lot for the update. I think I'm finally gonna order one of these today.
