Re: Turning Stone Poker Dealers Good / Bad ?

My only beefs with TS have nothing to do with the dealers, who have improved every time I've gone back in the past 2 years:

-occasionally having only one cage worker, but no independent cage/line for dealers who need to fill their trays.
-location of the cage/board makes the room impossible to move through some nights
-the torch lounge needs a couple hundred more square feet
-those goddamned vents blowing cold air up my ass. no wonder everyone dresses like phil laak
-board calling roll for a new game one by one
-board/floor shooting the [censored] with each other instead of aiding players (swiping diamond card, taking initals)
-board doesn't show full player list or the actual time.
-hard to get the board worker's attention from the torch lounge

A friend was trying to buy a yellow drop chip all weekend, to no avail. I guess that's my only complaint about the dealers. The only serious mistakes I saw this weekend were a couple brief hiccups in the o8 game.

The Turning Stone dealers are some of my favorite anywhere. Favorites of the past and present include Henderson, Walter, and Kenny.

Every time I've gone, the staff has improved.

One mistook the smell of blackberry brandy for captain morgan's tho. Bad read.

Overall they are good. Always a good laugh with Sarah the button nazi. Also the outlandish blonde dealer who used to deal at FW can't think of her name. Henderson is a fun guy to have at the table. The one daytime asain dealer was very polite even when a 350+ pound hick kept annoying her while sitting in seat 1 but she was very nice to him and put up with some stuff other dealers wouldn't. Also the night dealer who lookes 15 and just started doing construction a few months ago and had some serious sunburn for the 2nd half the summer is a nice guy good dealer

The one complain was last mon durning game 5 of the yankees series the dealer got mad players were not paying attention to the game and flipped out at the table but not 1 player cared because all 10 were more worried about the game than the table.

To the comments on the old slow dealer george I think is his name. Nice nice guy so friendly will always remember how helpful he was to me the first time I went to TS about a year and a half ago. Made me feel a lot more comfortable there. He helps a lot of newer players fit in more even though less hands +EV to have new players enjoy and come back.

The real goofy guy with tall hair is hysterical

One of the blondes is pretty hot imo

George (dont know if he's still there) is very personable

One guy (very stern, a bit chubby) is a horrid dealer

For the most part they're good, they pwn foxwoods dealers

After getting back from Canada and playing at Fallsview, I must say that I missed Turning Stone (my normal casino trip) badly. More on that in my Fallsview trip report.

As for Turning Stone, most of the dealers are quite good. I can't believe no one mentioned Ben or Sandy yet, they are both excellent. Adam and Ben are my two favorites, but the other ones people mentioned (Walter, Troy et. all) are all very good.

Falker, I'm surprised you don't like Chelsey. I've never had a problem with her, and I think she's quite cute. There are two brushes that are also cute, can't think of their names though.

The only problems with the room are the layout; the staff is good.

OK so I'm horrible with names, but I've never really had a problem with a dealer at TS. They're all for the most part really friendly especially to a college kid like me playing tight as a rock. I've had a problem with the female floorperson on the night shift though.
