Is my computer good enough for 2 or 3 monitors?

Hey All,
I'm looking into getting one(and eventually two) more monitors so that I can 8 and 12 table.
I have a pentium 3 996 MHz with 512 RAM.
My video card is an NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400.
I don't know if my computer is fast enough,or my video card fast enough, to 2 or 3 monitor.
I think I'm going to start out with 2 crt monitors, and buy better with my winnings.

So my question: Is my computer good enough to use 2,and eventually 3, monitors. If it's not, what do I need.

If it is good enough, how do I set my settings up to use 2 and 3 monitors?

Well, in order to add an additional monitor youre going to need to install another video card. If you want to run two more monitors then you would need to add two more video cards....and thats assuming that you have two vailable PCI slots in your computer and youre power supply can handle the extra demand.

The PIII processor should be able to handle 8 and probably 12 tables without too much trouble. However, if youre planning on running poker tracker then you might get some occasional lag. I still own a PIII computer and when I used to multitable on it and run poke tracker sometimes the computer would struggle,, but for the most part it was OK.

So, if money is scarce at the moment and you just want a temporary solution until you can get some more scratch together to buy a faster computer then you should be alright. Just pick up a couple of cheapo pci video cards and try it out.....if youre unhappy with the set up it still wouldnt have cost you much money.
