Cap preflop.

Cap preflop.

Agreed. Out of position this hand gets a whole lot easier to play if you cap it.

The only thing I would do different is to cap it pre-flop.

You don't think recommending a cap is results oriented?

I like it just fine.

I do. It results in me winning a huge pot because I'm starting with the 4th-best hand. Cap that [censored].

I cap it preflop and I probably fold the turn to his donk bet.

Why is it easier to play it out of position when you cap it? Because of showing strength? (i'm trying to learn)

Re: JJ against 3 bet and an overcard paired board

I think the idea is, if you cap pre flop, and an over card flops, you can give your opponent more credit if he plays back at you. By capping pre flop, you have indicated you have a premium hand, if an ace or a king now flops, you bet and your opponent raises, chances are your opponent now has top pair and you can let go of your jacks. At least thats what I think is meant by being easier to play.
