Sweet! Thanks.
If in your time in the archives you find any good stuff on preflop hand selection, position or any other frequently discussed topics it'd be awesome if you posted them! |

Well done, i am gonna read em since AA is my biggest loosing hand. [/ QUOTE ] As long as you realize that there is a great difference amongst various AA hands, and that something like AA72r really isn't much better allin equity wise than virtually any other hand, and that the best AA hand cannot be much more than a 2-1 favorite allin against virtually any random hand, then there is no reason it should be. Judging the quality of a particular AA hand and taking into account stack sizes is the key to playing AA properly. |

I believe it is. Although Im open to change my mind on the matter if you can convince me otherwise. |

Omaha Hi: 500000 sampled boards cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV 7s Ac Ad 2h 280661 56.13 219339 43.87 0 0.00 0.561 9c Qd Jh Th 219339 43.87 280661 56.13 0 0.00 0.439 This simulation shows that a bad AA rag hand does indeed have an equity advantage over the more common type of hand that another player is willing to take against AA even headsup, but it's not a bone-crusher. With a smaller stack size I certainly would be willing to go allin headsup with such a hand, but multiway or with deep stacks and lots of money to bet the flop, then just calling someone else's preflop raise is the best option, followed by usually quietly folding the flop when you mostly don't flop a set of As or a board set with your sidecards. But if you overplay that type of hand with deep stacks you will be a long term loser for it. And as I have stated here before, with a deep stack facing other deep stacks and aggressive players multiway, I have folded that type of hand preflop a few times, and don't regret doing so because I can find a better hand and a better spot than that to invest a big stack on. |
