3/6NL - LAG hand

At table for less than an orbit, but so far seems very aggressive. Only saw Villain play 1 hand - 3 handed, he called a raise pre-flop, check-called flop/turn/check-folded river once the flush draw missed. On the flop, I thought I spotted a tell and simply didn't believe him. His min check-raise on the turn wasn't convincing either.

"His min check-raise on the turn wasn't convincing either."

Are u thinking that he doesn't have a hand or..what? If so..why are u bluffing with a made hand?

I'm fairly sure that he's weak. However, just in case he's got something that beats middle pair/no kicker... it's basically insurance.

What tell do you have from a 3 handed game that you can insert into a 8 handed game?

I dont see the point of calling with 97s at any point in time during this hand. I gotta believe preflop you are behind.

Could he be holding Ax, any 2, TT-AA, or any diamonds on the flop?

How are you calling the check raise turn?

I'm just very confused the whole way. I don't think you have enough information about this guy yet.

line doesn't make sense to me at all. Min-raise on turn makes this a fold i think, what are you pushing him off here?

If it was a decent-sized check-raise I would've had to fold. For the price he gave me pot-odds wise, I decided I want to see the river.

Given the way I played the hand up to that point, what do you think he'd need to call me there? AK is probably a fold (which I was pretty sure he didn't have anyway). Two pair? what two-pair hand raises UTG? All in all, I just didn't see what he can have that can call me on that board for a pot-sized raise.

when he checkminraises the turn i would start thinking that trying to push him off his hand is probably not going to be cost-effective.
