A9s hits trips

10 handed 5/10

Hero is in the HJ with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
folds to villain (17.5/6/1.3 over 314) in HJ-1 who limps, I raise, BB and villain call.

3 to the flop (6.5sb):
K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
BB bets, villain calls, I raise, bb folds, villain calls

2 to the flop (5.75bb):
9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
villain check/raises me

does villain have a worse 9 or a picked up flush draw enough to 3-bet here?

last question: what's up with all the busted convertors? does anything work for pokerroom?

Make it three. You are ahead of a ton of hands and behind only K9 and 55.

If he caps just call the river.

Seems like an easy 3-bet.

As for teh convetors I'm wondering about that too. Was there ever a convetor for Pokerroom?

ok thanks guys. I haven't played full ring in a helluva long time and it seems like people keep flipping over monsters on me, it's got me second guessing big time..

I don't think a 17.5% villain open limps there with K9o. K9s maybe. But there are no combinations of K9s left. 55 is possible. But you're likely ahead of or chopping with another 9 and you have 7 outs against 55. Seems like a definite 3-bet. I'd call down unimproved if he caps.

Beautiful!

Being able to see these kinds of things is why I love poker.
