Ok, rakeback on Party is dead....but can we all just become affiliates

Looking at Party's affiliate web site, we could earn 20% back on ourselves even if we only have one customer (us). Is there any reason this can't be done?

I take this to mean that playing under your own affiliate tracker is against the rules. Am I wrong?

You are right. You are not allowed to play under yourself. If you have no new sign-ups in a certain time frame - I think it is 3 months - your account can be frozen as well.
