Chop denied hand question

This happened awhile back but I'm curious to see what others would do in the situation.

6/12 game, I'm SB. Table folded to me I look at BB and ask if he chops. He says no, I look down at QQ. Raise preflop? or let him play into it then attack?

Raise with the words 'screw you then, I'm raising'.

If you're worried this guy is going to fold and not give you any action after you ask that question and then immediately raise, I think those worries are unfounded.

In fact, unless he's either the biggest rock in town or 65+ years of age (or both), I would bet he's at least calling you somewhere around 100% of the time.

I never, ever, ever slowplay Queens preflop in limit. Why let K2o see a king for free?
