Lowering Your Stack

I'm playing around with the Ed Miller short stack appraoch to NL. One problem is that if you win some, you might no longer have a small stack. In B&M, you'd be stuck, but are there any websites that allow you to just "knock off some chips" in the same way you would add them? Obviously, the workaround is to just leave the table and come back with less chips, but kind of a pain. WOuld be nice to not have to trick the system.

most sites have a time limit in which if you leave the table with x amt of chips, you must re-enter with the same amt. IIRC, potty is the only site that doesnt enforce this rule.

If moving to another table is the hard way of doing it, why bother having an easy way?

Taking chips off the table is more than just "tricking the system," it would be a blatant violation of the rules of poker.

Do people actually get annoyed when someone sits down with a small stack? What's the point of the rule - just to give peiople a chance to "win their money back"?

You can get away with it in a B&M if you happen to be sitting at a table of tyrannosauruses.
