Two Pair Hand - Poker Stars

This is a hand played by a friend of mine. I would appreciate it if you would comment on the flop and turn play - I told him I think he shouldn't have called preflop, so I'm really looking for flop and turn analysys. Thanks for any input.

Poker Stars 10+1 multi, 683 players started - 63 paid, $5,900 for 1st.

Friend(F) has 42000(T), blinds about to go to 1500/3000. Player one (P1) has 42000(T) Player two (P2) has 47000(T).

F gets Kh8h, early position, calls as do P1 and P2.

Flop Kx8x2h

F bets 6000, both call.

Turn 9h

F bets 8000, P1 pushes, P2 calls. Pot has about 100,000.

F folds.

Results: 6h on river, P1 has K9, P2 has AA.

Almost too good to be true on the flop. What else can you ask for? A full boat? Then the turn is even better, giving a draw to a high flush. While I agree that this is a preflop fold, now that you are in the hand, you've got to go to the end. Top 2 pair, plus a flush draw.

Call all - in.

First, I would not have played the K8s from EP, what would your friend have done if a player raised after him? I think you are just throwing chips away here.

But considering the the hand has been played, I think your friend played the flop correctly. 2 Pair is a dangerous hand to slow play, even top 2.

On the turn, I don't know if this is correct, but if I were playing the hand, I would have pushed and made my opponent decide if he wanted to play for all his chips. I think your friend has to call here, but I would have pushed.

Do you think a bigger bet or even a push on the flop would be better?

Your post did not specify what exactly the blinds were so I'm guessing that your bet on the flop is about a pot sized bet. If that's the case, this should be fine. If your friend moves in on the flop, the only hands that are going to call him, can most likely beat him (sets).
