short stacked final table... 33 in BB and big action
 

Sorry hand converter not working for me... just wondering based on payouts of tournament you think it is worth calling here. My read on the min raiser is even keel, tries to steal to maintain stack and play big pots with big hands only. Don't have much of a read on the other player.

I'm looking for +$ev... whatever you think that means. The way it is short handed and fast action hands makes me believe they might be sharing an overcard and i'm coinflipping. Is that a strong chance? BTW this is a $5 turbo tournament... my favorite fun game [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Kristian - is this a case of +chip EV but -$ev?

Due to the speed of the game everyone was forced to play. It was a fast table and coinflips needed to be taken, except a coinflip between others would bump me in pay.

I felt like it was a good fold, but I didn't know how to do the math to prove it. 3 to 1 on my money was very tempting to hope seeing KQ and AK flipped over

Unless you have a damn good read that the allin is a steal and the min raiser will give it up, I think it was a good fold. Hell, even if you have a good read on the above having that raiser after you is still probably enough to get me to fold (thinking along the lines of having a good read would have required similar circumstances to have played out before probably, in which case the min raise could be a setup)

i think it's a good fold. to come over the top of a raiser means there's too good of a chance for the villain (or the original raiser) to have a pair here, imo. also, you have to believe there's a very high chance the PFR calls the reraise and you get a shot to move up in the money.

I think it is EV- both ways, but even more so $$-wise. The best you can hope for is heads up against two overcards, which is about 50-50, but since there is a big risk you will be up against more than two overcards (if it is 3-way) or a pair, your chances drop radically. And this is not even considering that you could get a free bump up the money with a fold.
