River decision with a set.

Taggish button raises, not good player ccs in sb, I 3 bet TT, both call. Flop is A52r. Sb checks and calls my bet, btn folds. Turn is the delicious ten of clubs, 2 clubs now on the board. Sb check calls. River is the 4 of diamonds. Sb now bets.

Some history with sb. Well, very little history actually because I have only been at this table about 10 hands. The first hand I say he call down with a hand that couldnt beat bottom pair of 3s on quite a scary board. Another hand I raise AKs UTG, he called in BB. Flop was T55 two tone. He checked and called. Turn was a King and he checkraised me. I called (should I 3 bet here?). River was a flush card, he bet I called and he had AA. Prior to that he completed from the sb, I raised A6o and pounded flop and turn (had hit 6s). River was an Ace and he bet/folded.

OK, so what is my plan here?

Villain seems weird, but I raise and call a 3-bet. I don't think you have enough history on him to really get a good handle on his play and giving him credit for AA or a 3 here seems too weak.

Yeah I raise that too, he may be a clever player, but an AA would cap preflop with 3 guys in I believe. So basically you have to worry about a 3, I think it's much more likely he calls your 3 bet on river with 2pair or smaller set than it is he hits his straight and three bets.

Yeah raise and call a bet.

FWIW, on the AKs hand, I would 3bet and call down.
