East Coast Bank?

I recently moved from California to NY (dont ask why). Problem is that I use Wells Fargo as a bank and there are no branches in NY. I never had any problems with Wells Fargo when (i) depositing money into Party with a Wells Fargo debit card, or (ii) getting money into my account through nexteller when cashing out. Could you recommend an east coast bank that will not be problematic for these deposits and cashes?

I was thinking about Citi, Bank of America or Chase, but I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Don't know about any of the ones you cited, but I've had good luck with PNC Bank linked to Neteller. No issues to report. (They are based out of Pittsburgh, and have branches in Philly). GL.

Citibank is the most convenient. I believe BofA is the same as Fleet here. are you a tort lawyer?

Check out Commerce. No ATM fees and no problems with Netteller. Their online banking and billing paying pwns as well.

Thanks and no, I'm not a tort lawyer. But I'm sure I can find some 1-800 numbers if interested.

Citibank and Chase are the big ones in NYC. they have the most ATM's and in-person branches by far.

Bank of America merged with Fleet, so now they're here as well. Newer brands like Commerce, North Fork (ex-GreenPoint), Washington Mutual (ex-Dime Savings), and Wachovia should all be good as well.

I've used Citibank since high school (which is a fairly long time) and have never had any problems with them, or using them with Neteller, IGMPAY or Paypal for that matter. Some of the newer-school banks might have better service or signup deals, however. it's pretty competitive here so shop around.
