I have 50 BB has 30 UTG+1 has 18
im sb in this hand with 89o
UTG+1 limps folded to me i complete bb checks
flop:5 6 7 rainbow
i bet pot (1.50) bb calls and UTG+1 folds
turn: 5 i bet pot (4.50) bb calls
river: J
bb has twenty left
i push...

Don't you want to work this for a little more money? ie. bet 1/3 of the pot or so here. You are ahead wouldn't you say?

im almost positive im ahead here and if i was unsure pushing here would make little sense since id only be called by a worse hand (most of the time at least) but i figured i could def stack him if he had a five or if he turned out to be one of those donks who cant let top pair go...
1/3 of the pot is good for a value bet in general?

I think another split is in order. We need a micro or newbie NL forum. I mean there's actually some good stuff in this forum, and then there's.....this. It's good stuff but it's just a little textbook.
