What\'s your favorite advanced book?

Just bought SS II and want a refund for his repeat of SS I NL section. After reading Sklansky's review on some books, was wondering what everyone here feels is a good advanced theory book on the game.

I've read Harrington on Hold 'Em vol.1 & Caiffone's Pot & No Limit Poker. Those are both good books for NLHE cash games (and early tournament play where stack/blind sizes are similar).

However, a very advanced book devoted to NL Hold 'em cash games doesn't really exist IMO. Many reasons for this, it has only recently caught on as a very popular cash game and honestly I think it can easily be the most profitable game around for the great players (who therefore are reluctant to write the goods down).

Current essays & articles in magazines (2+2, cardplayer, etc etc) and posts at forums such as this one contain some of the best NLHE cash game information for an advanced player. The hard part is sorting out the good from the bad, and even then totally conflicting information can both work. Very difficult to write a real "how-to" book on NLHE since a variety of strategies can work equally effectively.

ALSO: this belongs in book forum, and this question gets asked about 500 times a week there. search is your friend.

I don't think Sklansky reads books, much less reviews them.

From what I have read. I would say the original Super System is my favorite book when it comes to advanced play for multiple games. But I would like to see Doyle Brunson write a "fundamental" version of Super System to teach the students how crush the suckers at the tabe. Then again, I'm sure some of the writers at Cardoza had that covered 20 of 30 years ago.
