Wait a second, these guys are softplaying each other? Does that not lead to other situations which could definitely be construed as cheating?

In theory. But it's a reality, and you'll oftentimes find yourself on a table where guys / husband-wife softplay each other.

I used to play at a casino that had a rule against husband and wife playing at the same table. But they waved the rule for one couple. They were about 80 years old, and they went at each other like fighting cocks.

I think players should be told that soft-playing is wrong. Many just don't know. I'll tell them, if they don't look too mean. If they don't stop, I'll get up unless the game is real soft.

There's no reason to ever tell anyone about the rules in a poker room -- your average person is there to have fun, have a few drinks, a few laughs, and blow X hundred / thousand dollars. Why rules lawyer them? Do anything and everything you can to make the environment fun and frivolous.

That's at least how I see it...

Man, that's a great response. I can see why you took so long to formulate this expert play. Michael, you might just want to concede now. This point, I mean, WOW. It's like, I was thinking it, and then BAM, he said it. Just awesome dude. Well done.

I love the "secret" omaha talk.
I'm sure nobody else has ever looked into omaha before.
