Playing from anywhere: Wireless and Satellite Internet Connections
 

I'm considering doing some traveling and I want to play poker "on the go".

This is a fantastic way of seeing the world btw, to anyone who may be interested. You can play poker with a satellite internet connection and a laptop pretty much anywhere. Sit in the gardens in Rome and 4-table. Woot. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]


But I have no knowledge of laptop internet connections, satellite or otherwise. I don't know how much they cost, or what the best options are.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

Call Sprint and Verizon. They both sell cell modems and service.

Hmm. A little out there, but we can roll with it. My friend just ditched me for his wife, so our steaks are off tonight. So in lieu of I'm meeting my friend on the Lower East Side and going to Mony Pinkins to see some bands. I will probably drink a few bronsons as I **** ***** as my pre-game.

Ok, I got the Bronsons = beers part, but the *s, I just don't get.

Me? Preparing for the 3rd annual halloween bash. Then probably heading up to the local watering hole and drinking some reebs. Married and 30 will do that to ya. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]

Oh, right, poker. Gotcha. I thought he would be out cavorting with some hot models or something, being as he's from NYC and all.
