More value?

Is there a better line to extract more value here

UTG 32/13 and aggressive post flop with any piece but is capable of checking the turn.
Button is loose and could be peeling anything. Would have raised top pair.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG raises, 2 folds, Button calls, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)

UTG bets, Button calls , Hero raises, all fold

I don't mind your line -- folding everyone won't happen often -- but I think that, given your relative position, I prefer waiting for the turn.

I'd wait for the turn. Board is pretty bland and there is little chance you will get outdrawn.

i think your line is good. Too bad they didn't have anything. I would rather check raise on the flop on this kind of hand as a hand like 10 10 may get aggesive and protect his hand against your "flush draw".

I dont mind your line here. Its just a shame they all folded.

Re: More value?

Sometimes I bet out here, sometimes I checkraise the flop as you did, and sometimes I wait until the turn. It's dependant upon the agressiveness of the opponents & what line they've seen me take lately (I don't want observant opponents to catch on to one single "flopped monster" line).
