Bad Beat Jackpot Hand (ZERO content)

Over a few hundred thousand hands, I've never seen a hand that would have qualified for Party's BBJP... until now.

Converter page isn't loading, so I'll try to make it purdy for you guys.

UTG folds, UTG+1 raises, MP1 cold-calls , all fold.

FLOP A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG+1 bets, MP1 raises, UTG+1 3-bets, MP1 calls.

TURN Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG+1 bets, MP1 calls

RIVER K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG+1 bets, MP1 raises
UTG+1: lol
UTG+1: no way
UTG+1: u got j
MP1: yes way
UTG+1 calls
MP1 shows J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] -- Royal Flush.
UTG+1 doesn't show Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] -- Quad Queens

The final pot was 11BB... could have been worse for UTG+1

Have to use both hole cards.

And you can't talk about the hand while it's in play.

You can say anything you want when it's heads-up though...right?

The loser is using his two cards. Does the winner also have to use two cards? Sorry to ask, I have never seen a bad beat jackpot hit either.

Not a bad beat jackpot hand, both players must use both hole cards

Discussing the hand, even heads-up, will disqualify the hand from the bad-beat jackpot.

Whatamaroon.

I guess this further points out the outlandish odds against hitting the jackpot. This is the first time I've seen any quads beat, and it STILL wouldn't have qualified.

Re: Bad Beat Jackpot Hand (ZERO content)

My buddy (not at the Bad Beat Tables) lost Quad 9s to Quad Qs. He calls an EP raise at the old 100 NL tables on party with 99. Flop comes 99Q, awesome flop or so we thought. Guy (not with QQ) is betting out, both the QQ and my friends 99 call. Turn is Q, oh awesome card if they both have KQ or AQ. Same betting as the turn. River is a blank, quads leads for 5 and my friend pushes assuming the guy has a Q....and then he calls....and we're both shocked.
