24,000 hands at various limits of sh, from 1/2 to 3/6:

vpip: 27.16
vpip/sb: 36.16
fold sb steal: 75.91
fold bb steal: 69.13
att steal: 37.56
W$WSF: 39.99
WTSD: 35.75
W$SD: 49.16
PFR: 20.6

I'm running really bad over the past ~8000 hands or so. I also went NUTS with pfr for the first ~4000 hands, so this is why the pfr is a bit high, it's been consistently in the 16-18 range over the past 10k+ hands.

Went to showdown seems a bit low, not really sure though. And fold to steal seems WAY higher than it should be, though it doesn't seem like I fold to steals that much in my game.

How far off am I? My bb/100 is 1.22 now, it WAS over 3, but I think some pretty big leaks in my game are showing up now that the samplesize is starting to get a bit more realistic.

Thoughts?

Fold to steal is fine, IMO - you could defend more, but I think it's only possible with a very good grasp of HU play otherwise it won't help much. Your VPIP is a tad high, however. There is nothing wrong with tightening up a bit when you are running bad. WTSD is indeed low, I have the same problem and my fold to river bet is too high as well. It's difficult to solve this when your W$SD is at the lower end of the range.

So basically except for a bit high vpip, you think I'm just downswinging?

VPIP is partially from me going NUTS the first few thousand hands of nl (I was like 35vpip/30pfr lol), and also because I play some things I know I shouldn't be playing, like AXs UTG, 22-55 UTG, etc.

I guess I'll tighten up a bit and wait to catch some cards so the showdown numbers fix themselves.

A couple things, 36% VPiP from the SB is too high for the 1:3 structure of 3/6 and you need to defend you blind BB more. Something in the 50-60 range would be better. Also you're VPiP seems pretty high for 16-18 PFR and 70% FBBtS. You might be limping to much.

Am I the only one who thinks the fold SB to steal number is too low? 25% seems like a lot of defense... I probably fold my SB way too against steals, but that strikes me as being too loose (especially it being so close to the FBBtS, which is usually significantly lower than FSBtS).

I agree. IRRC 75% is too low espeically with the 1:3 blinds. Somewhere between 80-85 is good.

Kumubou is right.. fewer flops from sb, more from bb in general, but again I wouldn't worry about BB defense too much while on a downswing as long as you aren't getting run over. Without confidence in one's HU play, post flop play may eat up any gains. FWIW, I'm at ~15% SB defense and 40% BB defense.

I find the real problem with playing too much from the SB is you tend to continue post-flop with really weak hands.

This is a mix of 1/2, 2/4 and 3/6, the vast majority of the hands are 1/2 sb. Maybe 25% of the hands at 1/3.

Point taken though, I'll tighten up the vpip, stop limping marginal stuff, let my sb go a bit more, and maybe defend the BB a touch more

Still pretty meaningless sample size. If you are going to post stats, post VP$IP, PFR, Agression by street, SB defense, BB defense, Att to steal, Positional VP$IP/PFR, Fold to river bet. I think WTSD and W$SD are basically useless for tweaking your game.

You defend the SB too much and BB not enough. I'd recommend to anyone playing small sh games to play 25/17 MAX.

I continuation bet approx 100% of the time, which is obviously too much from what I've been reading. I'm aware flopagg should be around 3, so I should stop continuation betting so much.
