You could try betting.

Re: Help me to maximize profits on big hands (Better way to play these

1. why the hell wouldnt you 3bet all in? if it "isn't worth your time" to put the money in, stop playing poker.

2. Raise that flop, and if you must smooth call (not terrible depending on villain aggression), don't check that turn. Fast play fast play fast play. I'll spam a link to my waste of a post in the BBV forum - they DO pay off. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...e=0#Post4203964

Hand three - raise flop, but you won't get paid off if he doesn't have anything, tough luck.

Re: Help me to maximize profits on big hands (Better way to play these

Hand 1 looks alright. You have a weak flush and it'd be very easy for him to have a higher one.

Hand 2 I would raise the flop.

Hand 3, bet the flop.

Re: Help me to maximize profits on big hands (Better way to play these

Against the majority of NL25 players that I've played against, hand1 is definately a raise. None of them will ever think that you caught a runner runner flush, and >70% of them will pay off with a strong king/2-pair.

Hand 1 is fine

Hand 2: don't check the turn. You have to build this pot for yourself. Bet $14 pray for a call so that you can get all-in on the river. If they fold, too bad so sad.

Hand 3: lead the flop and hope to 3-bet it. You've got to build these pots early so you can get your stack in. As played, min-raise the flop when the action gets back around to you. It sucks to check-minraise, but since you already checked in this case it will probably get some more money in the pot for you. Then, bet half the pot on the turn and pray for a call.

Re: Help me to maximize profits on big hands (Better way to play these)

Hand 2: Is the hand not strong enough for this play? I like the check because is allows someone to draw to a flush or bluff on the river.

I would, however, raise the flop. We don't know we are going to boat-up on the turn. What however do we do to a re-raise, do we re-re-raise-all-in? And to an all-in do we call? I know its read dependent, but general comments are appreciated.

Your hand is plenty strong. You want to charge them to draw while they're drawing dead.

In the spirit of maximizing the value of these hands. Once we have them drawing dead how much do we bet? What we think they will call obviously, but do you suppose most players know the odds to draw to thier flush? Should we then under bet, thus tempting them to draw?
