\"Texas Two-Step\" in Toronto?

Hey guys.

A flaw in my game is that I don't know my outs for flop-to-river.

I've invented a game called "Texas Two-Step" to exercise this skill. It's the same as Texas Holdem, except that the turn and river card come up together (and there's therefore no betting on the turn).

Is anyone interested in getting together in Toronto or the Toronto area to meet some 2+2ers and play a live game of Texas Two-Step for $1/$2 or $2/$4 stakes (say on a Monday or Tuesday)?

I know, I know, it's a weird game, but playing weird games is fun sometimes, and it's similar enough to what we're doing.

I like the horse fight post better. This one I don't get, but maybe it's just me.

That's because it's serious.

I DO want to play this game (that I made up), in order to better learn flop to river odds.

I live near Toronto, and there's no way that I'm going to be able to convince a non-academic gambling crowd to play this game.

Therefore I would be interested in getting toronto 2+2ers to play, if they're willing.

I thought I was pretty straight-forward...

You were absolutely straightforward, Dave. Don't worry, it's just me being an ass. Plus you have set the comedy bar pretty high, so it's easy for your readers to get disappointed. Good luck finding takers for this interesting poker variant.

There's actually another game called Texas Two-Step. It's Texas Hold'em, but after each betting round except the first, each player may replace one or both of their down cards for a fee. The fee to replace goes up each round.

To better learn flop to river odds? Why do you have to create a game to do that, it's math plain and simple math. I stress the simple part.
