Aplusgame247 - q for those of you who sweat UB 25/50

For those of you who sweat this game a ton, I'd be very curious to know how many hours you see him play this week. I'm just curious, as he appears to be playing non-stop recently, but maybe we're just on a lot at similar times.

I've noticed the same thing recently. He seems to be doing well. Anyone know if he is a known professional?

Re: Aplusgame247 - q for those of you who sweat UB 25/50

I've been sweating this game a bit this past month and the it has been absolutely crazy.

Pretty much everyday it seems Aplus logs on around 3pm Eastern, waits around for a while, plays a few headsup/shorthanded games then gets in the usual two full tables and one short (varying obviously) til around 4 AM eastern.

I've seen him sit out a few times but for the past week or two especially from what I've seen he's logging like a 12-14 hour day. I too wonder if this is really true though, I have been checking up on the game very often but don't watch it constantly so it's hard to tell. I always laugh though because I see him sign on around noon and he's still there 13 hours later.

On a side note he was talking to one of the other players about two weeks back about how he didn't go to the Bahamas tournament or whatever it was and has passed up on most other games due to the fact there was "too much money to make online" and was semi joking that he couldn't afford to sleep.

FWIW, he is often also playing the big Prima NL games (25/50, 50/100, 100/200) at the same time.

I've heard he was "killing" those games as well. While I think it is pretty presumptuous to calculate what he's pulled in the past year or two without watching constantly, it's hard to argue he isn't doing very, very well for himself.
I've always been very impressed with his style of play, hand reading ability and sheer drive to log some crazy hours in multiple games.

I have always been curious, anyone know any history on how he built his BR etc.? Was he playing in the bigger online/live games before that PLHE WSOP win a few years back?

Only a fool would argue that.

Could it be multiple people playing the same screenname, a la those poker "boiler rooms"?

It could be, but it's not.

Have you ever seen Aplusgame247 playing at the same time as Mahatma or at the same time as Spirit Rock?

Whoever he is, he has very liberal politics; he was talking last night about how people in the United States aren't free.

I don't know if that helps to identify him as SR/Mahatma.

If he's really liberal, that's another indication it is Spirit Rock/Mahatma/Prahlad. Has anyone played him live in the big games in the Bay Area? Gift of Gab, you ever play him live? I'm curious to how his live style is different from his online style.

24 or 25, I think. Google Prahlad Friedman and you can see a picture of him from his WSOP win.

i was talking about giftofgab.

this response does make me think i just made a moron of myself by not knowing that gift of gab and SR/mahatma/aplusgame are one in the same. gift of gab is not Prahlad, right?

They are not the same person as far as I know. Sorry to confuse. I was asking Gift of Gab if he had played Prahlad live since they are both in the Bay Area.

Another Prahlad article

Somehow I missed this article when I googled him the first time:

Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic 2002
