Yet, again, I have no idea what the min raise means. Is it my imagination or are a lot more people min raising?

Well, any way, what do I do here?

people just minraise sometimes. it's an $11. I wouldn't read too much into it.

push. minraise could be J6s as easily as AA

Clear push,

Your not gonna fold.

calling puts you in a very akward position if you miss the flop and he bets.

the guy only has 900 chips and if you reraise, your pot commiteed and have to call watever hits on the flop anyways.

If your traped, your traped, I say push.

Call and play the flop. No reason to risk most of your chips with this hand. You have a nice stack, keep it that way.

In Level 1 or 2 (and maybe 3), I might agree with you. But Hero's on Level 4, he's only got 15xBB right now and when the blinds increase he'll have 10 (assuming Level 4 blinds won't hit him again before Level 5). He's got AK AND they're suited...so if he's up against a small pp he's only about 46-54. Plus, if he's up against a small pair and pushes, he very well may get a fold. Hero's gotta push here.

Shove it right back at him. Don't get cute against a t1000 stack.

Re: Call, reraise or push

Push this, EVERY time.

You are only really worried about aces or kings. Any other hand you have:

a) Dominated
b) A slight disadvantage (pocket pairs)
c) 40/60 against the odd moron would call a push with something like JQ or 89 suited. (This is not uncommon to see in the $11s)

Either way, it is +EV to push this. Most of the time the minraiser would fold, if not, you have the 4th best hand in holdem (debatable, I know)

Terrible. Minraises here often mean mid pocket pairs, or hands like ATs. Fish don't know how to play these hands with a 10bb stack, so they just raise a bit without thinking about how to handle a push, or how to play the flop. Bad players will call with plenty of dominated unpaired cards, and you're in good shape against a pair < KK. Tighter players will fold preflop, but calling gives them the chance to hit unpaired cards that you are ahead of, whereas they'd fold preflop. You have a ton of folding equity here, exploit it. Really really easy push.
