Official \"3+1 NFL Challenge- 2005\" Week 1 lines

I see no need to wait any longer- I don't see any rule changes coming and we have the lines out there, so let's get ready to rumble!

For the final rules being used, see
2005 official rules link

One thing I forgot there- if you want to bet the line and the over/under, those are two separate bets and should be listed separately.
I know that seems obvious, but just in case

Here are the lines for Week 1
Code:

If I made any obvious mistakes, such as flipping a line to the wrong favorite, I'll post those corrections. Swings in the correct line will not be adjusted for.

Good luck to all in your NFL betting. Don't forget to post some reasoning with your picks and post before the required deadline.

My picks

$400 bet Rams
$300 bet Bills
$200 bet Pats u50
$100 bet Chiefs

Rams- They're playing the 49ers!

Bills- Texans on the road, Bills defense...

Pats under- I didn't like the line on this game, even with the Pats at home, but I do like the under for the Pats at home, even with Randy to throw to, since Bill's had a number of weeks to plan for it.

Chiefs- will the home power continue? Besides, any team smart enough to cut FredEx should be able to cover 3.

$400 Colts -3
$300 Chargers -4.5
$200 Bills -4
$100 Bengals -3

Colts: Im still drinking the Manning Kool-Aid. The Ravens defense is good, but their offense is a big question mark, and Indy can cover 3 points on anybody but the Patriots.

Chargers: I dont think last year was a fluke. LT and Brees are an efficient combination, and Parcells is relying on the old guard to rennovate the Cowboys. If that rennovation is successful it should take a few weeks to get on track.

Bills: This is a case of a mediocre team visiting a good defense.

Bengals: Lord help me, I think the Bengals are making the playoffs this year. They finished 8-8 the last two years with worse teams, and theyve improved. The Browns on the otherhand still stink.

Looking to move up from my middle of the pack finish last year.
