Hope you enjoy the next 2+ years of trying unsuccessfully to get a job. If you are lucky like I was your first job out will be as a bank teller where you will get robbed, then you will retire that position only to accept a job selling women's shoes.

Didnt mean to ruffle feathers. I graduated from CWRU, which is as rigorous as any school, in 5.5 years. Kicking and screaming the whole way.

Youth is definitely wasted on the young.

Didn't any of you see Animal House or Van Wilder? Graduation ceremonies should be treated just like funerals except the 'deceased' still has to suffer through another 50+ years of reminiscing about the good old days.

it's just a ridiculous comment. lots of people do coops and internships and other things that cause them to graduate late.

Don't let the haters get you down. If you don't like the real world, you can always cocoon up in grad school for 5-10 years.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you are graduating during the winter, you probobly don't have grad school grades.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is retarded.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, this is retarded "reasoning"...but he's right that I don't have the grades for grad school (if I wanted to go). GTech grad school admission is pretty f-ing competitive. I did however have the grades to land a job (which beats moving home and circling adds in the newspaper).

BIO: Started college in the Fall of 2000 and coop'd for 6 semesters as well as went abroad for a summer. So as far as school-semesters, I'm right on schedule. I highly recommend studying abroad and cooping.

2 years to find a job??? You obviously dont have an engineering degree...

mmbt0ne - nice job on that extension. I didn't quite finish the exam, but had enough to graduate so just handed it in anyways. Besides, they've been grading very easy. That class was def. not what I expected.
