HU final table 30 person MTT, what to do...

blinds are 1k/2k ante 200
after posting in the small blind i have 18k he has 36k after posting the bb
what's your strategy here?
i wanted to push any two every hand that i'm sb but what do y'all think?
what about when i'm in the bb, push anytime he limps right?

Pretty much. I would fold or complete with junk in the SB and probably complete with big pairs. I wouldn't push at all limps: depends on your hand and how he is playing. If villain is pushing at your limps, I might try to trap him by limping with standard full table raising hands.

If things get more even before the blinds increase, and you each have 13xBB, I would complete, miniraise, or standard raise some, rather than push all the time.

If someone has less than 6xBB, then pretty much follow your strategy of pushing every hand.

I would pushbot more if I wasn't comfortable playing villain postflop, but you have to push a lot anyway in this situation.
