NYPC is open every day, including the 4th of July. I was there on Saturday playing in the tournament (lost - came in 9th place) and the "baby" NL ring game (1/2 blinds, $50 min - $250 max buyin). There is no rake, instead they use a time charge collected during the dealer shift changes every 1/2 hour ($4). Its a fantastic comfortable room run by a great bunch of guys, Monday & Tuesday evenings are the biggest nights of the week, its standing room only. Saturday & Sunday's no rebuy tournys are fun, but the pace is deadly when the blinds go up to 200/400, with a $50 ante... watch the good players fall out left and right!
