44 blind steal drawy board

BB is semi-loose, semi-aggressive and most likely capable of semi-bluff raising a good draw.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Flop: (4.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets

Villain is not LAGgy enough to make this a definite calldown if raised, but there are way too many river cards that could burn me to check behind, correct?

Your hand is v. strong. No straights, and no flushes out there. If he has a pair he has you beat but it's HU so no assumptions.

I like it. I think you can check behind on the river because I don't think A high will call your river bet.

And if your read says he semi-bluffs draws why would you when he raises the blankish card?
