3 hands, 99 and JJ

I am taking another shot at the 100NL level.
Every time I have taken a shot I have gotten my arse handed to me so this time I have been buying in short ($50 instead of $100) and playing tight poker for the most part.
All this is at UB whichI have not played on very much and thus don't have alot of hands/notes on players yet. All of these Villians I have had no notes on at the time of the hand.

Standard fold on this first hand?
Could I have taken a better line?

Call the turn? Fold the turn?
River bet too big, should I have made a smaller value bet?

Was my turn blocking bet ok? was it too small?
I planned on folding to a raise.
Was the river bet too big?
I am not getting the hang of making value bets on the river
at the 100NL level.

Re: 3 hands, 99 and JJ

i would never fold hand 1

i'd bet the turn on hand 2

i'd bet more on the turn on hand 3

Re: 3 hands, 99 and JJ

I would put your opponent all in in the first hand. He is short stacked and both TT and QQ probably raise preflop. If he has a straight you have plently of outs; he probably just has top pair.

The other two look fine.

Re: 3 hands, 99 and JJ

hand one is the easist push ever!

hand two- you're getting great odds, lead the river for more say 1/2 pot

3 - on the turn you're lucky the player didn't come over the top, anyways I would bet 2/3 pot a ten is calling you here if they have it.

Re: 3 hands, 99 and JJ

be sure to change the converter to 2+2 from the drop down menu on the top left when converting hands.

Re: 3 hands, 99 and JJ

1st hand: No way I'm folding that, I'm pushing

2nd hand: I think the flop bet is too small, and I"m raising the turn here...you have a double belly buster and a good pair

3rd hand: turn bet is too small, rest looks fine
