two questionable pushes in 22$ tourny

Both these pushes are -ev vs reasonable ranges. I have been making them with the rationale that they increase my FE for later, and that by making them now I avoid even more -EV situations later on. However, since my stack can survive eating a blind is this a mistake? Would u push either of these?

Hand 1
22$ tourny

75/150 blinds

BB 1290
SB 385
btn 270
co 1725
co+1 820
co+2 575
HERO 1000
co+4 1935

hero holds 54o
1 fold, hero push

hand 2
in the same 22$ tourny

100/200 blinds

bb 2040
sb 760
btn 2050
co 915
HERO 1150
co+2 1085

hero holds 94o
1 fold, hero push

Wow, no. Hand 1 pushing trash into 6 opponents, hand 2 into 4. I even fold baby aces in these spots. I'd rather let the blinds go through me.

IMo, both of the pushes are really wrong. When there are a lot of poeple left in the tourney when the blinds get large, blinds come to you less frequently which gives you some time to wait.
I push into 5-6 players only if I am less than 4BB. here you have close to 6-7 BB in both tourneys and have lots of time to wait and look for +EV pushes.

Why would you push hand 2? You generally need about a top 25% hand to push 2 off the button with a 5.8 BB stack and 6 players remaining. Here is the correct push range give or take a few hands...

22+,A7o+,A2s+,KTo+,K7s+,QTo+,Q8s+,JTo,J8s+,T8s+,98 s (26%)

Both pushes suck, you're overestimating the damage a round of blinds will do to your fold equity.

BTW this is going in my notes on you lol
