First hand post.

Villan is MP1 and had just joined the table. No read.

Cap the turn also.

Did the A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] sink your battleship?

I would cap the turn, and probably just call a river bet.

Raising preflop, I don't think you need to be worried about 54. Cap the turn, then if he's still coming at you on the river, go ahead and give him the reasonable doubt for QQ or AA and call.

No point being tricky on the flop. Villan isn't going anywhere, and neither are you, and it doesn't look like the other 2 really want to play.

Cap the turn. I doubt he's 3-betting the flop with QQ.

On the river, he might've hit his 2-outer with AA, so I agree with the call-down. Good job to not fold .

So, nice hand, cap the turn. I'm betting he turned over KK or AQ.

Those are some dreadful monsters under the bed..... I'd get at least a raise in on the end. I really think you are ahead here. Looks like AQ or even KK to me

Cold call pf is textbook, IMHO.

Beautiful flop for you. And you've got to like the action, too. I completely agree with the cap here.

Then it get trickier. Did villian hit a set on the turn? I'd just assume not and cap here, too. QQ is the only hand that beats you, so....I'm just going to assume villian is bettting AA or KK - although it could be any pair higher than the board at lots of tables.

I'd probably just call on the river when the A hits. Did villian have AA? Seems most likely given his agression.

I don't think so. Villain looks a lot like AA-JJ. I think I would definitely be capping the turn but I think calling the river is alright.

I think that's the problem with not capping the turn here. His range of hands that he may possibly lead into you balloons. If you cap you know to call one bet on the end.
