Pokerstars Reply for the HU Tourney

Hello Emil,

I have deployed an event which I believe meets your needs. You can view
this event in your PokerStars software under the Tourney/Private
tab. "Special Heads-up Matches" will be listed at the top if you sort on
the "Date" column. You can register and unregister if you like to see how
that works.

The event is a S&G so players can play whenever they choose. As soon as
one player registers, another S&G will open for registration. This will
enable a player to wait for his opponent without causing others to wait
for it to fill before another S&G opens for registration.

The one thing I cannot do is force a player to rebuy when his stack falls
below 1000 (100 BB) chips. In fact, I cannot force a player to rebuy at
anytime. The players must rebuy BEFORE THE START of the first break, after
which they will not be allowed to rebuy. If a player loses his stack
before the start of the first break and has yet to make his one rebuy, he
will be prompted to either rebuy or quit. Obviously, if he chooses to quit
(or does not have the $.01 in his account for the rebuy) the match ends. I
have scheduled the first break to start 90 minutes into the match. If you
need that changed, let me know. This is somewhat critical as it determines
the end of the rebuy period.

Players must have a minimum of $.02 in their account to cover the buyin
and the rebuy. The winner will be awarded the $.04.

Particulars:

2-player Sit&Go
Blinds are 5-10 for the duration the match
Password = LeeTheFlea (caps required)
Buyin = $.01 and player receives 2,000 chips
Fee = $.00
Rebuy = $.01 and player receives 1,000 chips

We will not charge a fee to run this event.

Let me know if this is ok and that you do wish for PokerStars to host
these matches.

Regards,

Henry

This is perfect with one small problem-I think we should ask for the rebuy period to last 2.5 hours. Outside of that, this is everything we could ask for. I assume these tables will be available throughout the next month or so?

I'm sitting at one right now. If anyone wants to test it out and get some practice, I'm game.

Does this allow observers? Even though I think most people on this board are fairly trustworthy, there's a lot of money at stake and it's just your word against the other guy's as to who won the match.
