PP WSOP sats: why after midnight?

Anyone have an idea as to why the PartyPoker daily WSOP satellites are held at the ridiculous time of 12:15 AM? Are they targeting Hawaii, California and Europe?

Definitely not Europe as these are 5.15am starts for the UK and 6.15am or later for mainland Europe.
