For luck, and to keep the number of "official" threads down, we have TheTimeIsUp (aka JJProdigy) start all official threads.

I'm on table 38 - Magic Pig.
I doubled up early on w/AKs vs. QQ when I pushed after a re-raise on the flop with 2 overs and the heart draw. I hit my King on the river.

man, i feel you on that one, for a span of a week playing live cash games, particuarly in two nights, one night aa, and kk beat, next night, aa and kk, kk, beat by q2, JJ, and the like.
It happens man, just gotta build up your BR so you can withstand the bad runs.

Flopped the nuts, turned the super nuts (straight flush) and got to 2500. Very next hand, raise with TT from UTG+1 or so, get like 4 callers, flop a set and lose to a turned straight. River doesn't bring my boat in and I'm sitting at just about even.

1370 at the break.

A horrible miscalculation had me doubling my outs. So, I thought I was ahead in the hand, when really I had a 30% shot. <shrug> I should really think for just 5 seconds longer before making an action.

The entire post is pretty long but take a look at my tourney from yesterday I just posted. The last two hands are all about problems with not thinking long enough in online tourneys. Huge leak for me.

Now multiply that feeling by 10.

I understand swings and bankroll significance, but I haven't posted a BB hand in a while and just had to unload.

Welcome to the board, and gl to all still in.

I've got AsQs in MP and open for a raise to T400 (blinds 75/150). One caller in late position. Flop is Kc2s5s. I make a continuation bet of T600. Villain raises to T1600. I figure I have 9 good outs and possibly 3 more and decide to gamble.

I hit my 8 out flush to beat his set of 2s and am up to T8310. I'm not proud of the suck out but I'll take it.
