Were you short stacked? Cash game or tournament and structure?

Bob Ciafone (I hope I spelled that right) said only AA and KK is worth all your chips before the flop in his Pot/No Limit book. This would apply to cash games and early in non-turbo type tournaments with plenty of chips.

with the majority of low level cash and tourney players, AA and KK are the only hands that can stand up to the incredible level of suckout!
