Closed Empire accounts reopened?
 

I found nothing on this searching here and at another site so ...

My Empire account was one of those closed by them last May for abusing the bonus system, or some such. Weird, but fine.

But a couple days ago, someone who did not know my account was closed transfered some money to me at Empire. Inconvenient. So I emailed Empire and told them what had happened. The emailed back (the same day(!)) saying

I have reinstalled the software and everything seems to be working fine. Is anyone else's account reopened?

Strangely enough, their handling of the whole situation does not make me much want to play there. (I was never much of a bonus whore anyway, regardless of their opinion of me.)

Did you complain or appeal in some way? Possibly they reviewed your case but forgot to notify you of their favorable decision?
