A Common Big Pair Situation

Villain 24/6/.8

But I'd like a line versus LAGs and TAGs too (thought I think these cases are actually easier).

Comments on all postflop streets please.

Hero's river plan???

Re: A Common Big Pair Situation

River: I think a lot of people are going to say bet/fold. If you bet more than likely he isn't raising with a hand that you can beat. If you check/ call he might bet a hand you beat like KJ, KT. So I opt for check/call because I don't want to fold it to a raise.

I'd rather bet to pick up value from worse hands that may check through the river. And I don't mind folding to river raise.

This is the heart of my question? Is the value we gain from a bet vs worse hands greater than the money we save by having a passive player check through an a weak A (a distinct possibility)?
