Queens on the flop

Only 4 hands at the table, never seen UTG before.

You appear to have picked 'PM' instead of 'AM' for your start time.

Heads-up this is a way ahead/behind calldown for me. If the pot were smaller I'd consider a fold, but I think without a preflop cap you're ahead of a smaller PP often enough for it to be worth going to showdown.

Sorry, I didn't change the times, just the dates. I will pay more attention next time.

UTG would likely raise AK, AQ, maybe AJ here.

He'd raise jacks and tens, and be less likely to cap those.

He'd cap KK and AA, almost definitely.

He might cap AK as well.

I put UTG on AJ/AQ. AJ is more likely for obvious reasons.

I think I fold this flop.

Re: Queens on the flop

I'm having a hard time thinking of any starting hand one would take a raise/call line with -- if you're raising UTG, you'll probably re-raise that hand. Regardless, he probably has something like AKs-ATs, KQs-KTs, QJs, AKo, or AQo. (AA-TT is getting reraised on sight, but maybe he's passive like that) You're behind all of those hands except QJ (and JJ/TT).

So, uh, fold? Or is that too weak-tight?

Unlucky flop, either a A or a K in UTG's hand has you drawing to 2 outs.

Thats too likely, so I fold.

If villain bets all the way, you're getting about 2.6-1 odds to call down. Which is really around 3.5-1 with the realistic possibility of a check. I don't think QQ is good 30% of the time, so I just fold.

i thought i responded.. i played with pokerstove and if he has a 2+2 raising range, he'd have to bet 99/TT all the way for you to turn a profit. not going to happen. he'll have a smaller range and not bet the worst hands. fold.
