Is this for real?

$10M buyin

Does anyone by chance have any more information about this? Any speculation on who'll be playing?

Actually I don't think its stupid because for once we are going to see a tournament where the players will be absolutely hungry. I mean sure you see these guys playing goot at the WSOP but when there is 10 million on the line I can't see how they could each tune it out.

Re: Is this for real?

I'm a little worried about what the stakes will do to the way the casual poker viewer looks at the WPT and WSOP. After seeing guys put up 8-figures each, is the money involved with a $10K buy-in still going to be exciting? For them, a big part of the thrill is seeing the money fly across the screen.
