Bottom two sets, push it or no?

25$ PLO.

I open limp second in KK33ss, guy to my right raises to 1$, LP calls, BB calls as do I.

Flop is K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. one of my threes is a diamond. Check, I check, raiser pots it at 4$, folds to me.

Raiser is a regular and will raise a fair amount of paintish hands, he is somewhat loose and not great.

Lead pot, then what if he repots it? He has 100 bbs as do I.

Pot it here, fold to a raise. Check-raise is also OK. Check-folding is out of the question.

Thanks Joe, I think I like the lead pot fold to pot raise line a little better than my CR line that I took, cuz when I kick it up and he pushes I waste too much. I CR way too much.

I like the folding to a repot, but can you really put him on aces here when you said that he is a somewhat loosey goose raiser. I definitely wouldn't give up here.

I'm actually leaning towards a call and then raising his turn bet.. If he doesn't have AAA, then you're going to get him to fire out another bet when he would fold to a raise on the flop.

I'm going to go out on a limb here- call the bet on the flop, and pot a non flush card turn, check if you fill.

Exactly my sentiments

That play does not make any sense at all. A call on the flop means you are representing a flush draw. So I would either lead the turn if it's a flushing card or check-raise.

A key point here is that having two sets really doesn't help you much if you are against trip aces and have no flush draw. So it comes down to reading the other guy's hand, or if he is tight enough to fold top set versus a flush, calling the flop and representing/semi-bluffing if a flush card comes on the turn as joe recommended.
